Epoxy Resin for Art How to Use:
Pour an equal amount of epoxy resin for art and hardener into a mixing cup (e.g. 100ml + 100ml). We recommend using Gloves while doing your project.
Stir well an equal amount of epoxy resin and hardener for at least 3 minutes. Scrape the bottom and sides to ensure the entire mixture catalyzes and that there is no remaining unmixed epoxy resin for art or hardener stuck (failure to stir properly will result in a sticky resin that will never cure).
After making sure you mix well resin and hardener together, pour it over your work/project. It will start filling on its own and you can spread it, then just use a brush to
tidy it up. You may notice that the bubbles begin to rise to the surface, many of them
will pop out on their own, but you can also do it yourself for a flawless finish.
Epoxy resin for art should be kept in a dust-free environment for several hours while it cures. It will become tacky after about 1-2 hours, but you can apply a second coat if
necessary. It will feel dry to the touch after about 12 hours and 99% hardened after 24 hours.
To reuse mixing tools, wipe them off with a paper towel before the resin dries.

To warm the art resin you can submerge it into a bowl full of warm, not hot, water. Or place it a couple of feet from a heater on low for a couple of minutes.
Measure equally and accurately by volume, not weight. Adding too much of either the epoxy resin or the hardener will alter the chemical reaction and your resin will not cure properly.
Stir your equal amount of resin and hardener together for at least 3 minutes. Failure to stir properly will result in a sticky resin that will never cure.
Scrape the bottom and sides of your mixing vessel as you stir to ensure the entire mixture catalyzes and that there is no remaining unmixed art epoxy or hardener stuck to the sides that may prevent a proper cure.
If bubbles appear, don’t worry—you can get rid of them using a torch later.
When you pour the epoxy resin for art out of the mixing vessel, avoid scraping the sides in case there is any unmixed resin or hardener stuck to the sides – if this gets mixed into your catalyzed resin, you may end up with soft sticky spots in your cured resin.
